Root Beer Stand Uprooted in Chippewa

The old Mary Ann’s Root Beer Stand in Chippewa Falls is gone.

Crews took down the building yesterday. The stand closed in 1994, but new owners bought it two years ago. Those owners say there was no way to salvage the old building, so they had to tear it down.
