Vice President Kamala Harris has picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.
In an email to supporters, Harris said Walz “is a relentless advocate for working families and a battle-tested leader.” Harris reportedly told Walz the news during a video call this morning. On X, Walz said it’s an honor of a lifetime join Harris in her campaign for the White House. He added she shows us the politics of what’s possible and said he’s all in.
The 60-year-old Democrat served in the House for 12 years before he was elected governor of The North Star State in 2018 and re-elected in 2022.
