Neenah’s city attorney is back on the job after being cleared in part of a sexual misconduct case.
The city on Friday said attorney David Rashid will be back on the job as of today. He was placed on leave back in may after prosecutors charged him with sexual assault based on a claim from his ex-wife. The criminal case has not yet been settled, but Neenah says its own internal investigation found that Rashid’s conduct did not involve anyone or anything at work. The city also said that there’s an “absence of information to support criminal charges,” and decided to allow Rashid to come back to work.
