Our warmer, humid weather has certainly made it feel more like the dog days of summer lately and for this week’s Friday Feel Good we actually meet a dog hero of summer!
A police dog in North Carolina helped get a lost little boy home after someone spotted him walking down a road all alone this month.
The kid is around six, and couldn’t tell cops where he lived because he’s autistic and non-verbal. Union County Sheriff Public Information Officer Lieutenant James Maye talks about the K-9, Remi and his ability to track the scent all the way to the correct home, making sure the little boy returned safely.
