There is a search for deer poachers in Fond du Lac County.
The sheriff’s office yesterday said they are looking for a suspect or suspects who’ve been shooting deer across the county. Investigators say they’ve gotten reports about shots fired in the middle of the night, someone shooting from the road, and they’ve found deer with bullet holes in them. It is illegal to shoot deer out of season, and it is always illegal to shoot deer from a car on the road.
Deputies are asking anyone who may know anything, or who may have seen anything to please reach out.
