This year’s Sporkie winner at the Wisconsin State Fair has everything: It’s refreshing, it’s bite sized, and it’s fried. Judges yesterday named the Deep Fried Lemonade Bites from Saz’s as this year’s Sporkie winner.

The Sporkies, of course, are the awards for the best food at the State Fair. The Hot Ham and Glazers from the Bud Pavilion got second, and the Rise and Swine from Camp Bar finished third. The Rise and Swine is a waffle served with vanilla custard and a pair of breakfast sausages. The Drinkie winner this year is the Fairway Fusion, which is a twist on an Arnold Palmer with pineapple juice, key lime juice, coconut syrup, and mint leaves. CLICK HERE TO DIG IN TO MORE DETAILS.
