Gov. Evers Issues More Pardons

Wisconsin’s governor has now pardoned more than 12-hundred people.

Governor Evers added to that tally on Friday when he issued 153 new pardons. Most of the people on the list of new pardons were convicted of smaller or drug crimes decades ago, and the governor’s office says they have all proven that they learned the errors of their ways. Evers has pardoned the most people in Wisconsin history since he became governor six years ago.
