A deadly crash remains under investigation in Douglas County.
It was on Saturday, July 27th at approximately 8:28 PM, the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one-vehicle crash in Douglas County on County Highway H near Koho Road.
The initial investigation indicates a car was traveling southbound when the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck a tree. Upon arrival, it was discovered the two occupants of the car were deceased. Speed and alcohol are believed to be contributing factors. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Assisting agencies included Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Brule Fire Department, and Dukes Towing.
