WI DNR Offers Discount on New License Plates

Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources is offering a discount to get people to buy new endangered resources license plates.

The state is updating the design, going from the basic red and white license plate with a wolf on the side, to a new full-color plate that features a bald eagle going after a fish. The DNR is offering a 25-dollar rebate to anyone who buys the new plates. That could be either people who are first-time endangered resource plate customers, or people who want to replace their old plates. You don’t need to wait for your specialty plates to be renewed in order to buy new ones, you can order them at any time.
