An Illinois man is looking at drunk driving charges, and possibly more, after he left his girlfriend behind at the Wisconsin Dells this week.
The State Patrol stopped 57-year-old Kenneth Thompson Wednesday night in Madison. Troopers say he was drunk, and had nine kids riding in his fifth-wheel camper. Police in The Dells say Thompson left his girlfriend at the Kalahari Resort after they got into a fight. He’s not facing charges for the fight, but he could face kidnapping charges because police say he took-off with his girlfriend’s kids in the camper. He was booked into the Sauk County Jail on OWI and reckless endangering safety charges.
