WI Plans Investment in Rural Roads

Wisconsin is investing about 50-million dollars for rural road improvements.

The state Department of Transportation says the money will go toward 37 projects in 28 Wisconsin counties. The projects are focused on helping Wisconsin farmers and producers by improving roads and bridges they need to transport their products statewide. It’s the first round of funding through the Agricultural Roads Improvement Program. The application period for 100-million more dollars in ARIP funding will open later this summer.
