Probation, Not Prison for Eau Claire Woman

Probation, Not Prison for Eau Claire Woman

An Eau Claire woman is not going to prison after helping hide her boyfriend following a 2022 murder in the city.

A judge yesterday gave Paige Reiter two-years of probation instead. She pleaded no contest to charges that she helped her boyfriend, Kemone Golden, by sending him money while he was hiding from the police. Golden is one of four people charged in the 2022 shooting death of Christopher Connell in Eau Claire. Golden has yet to go to trial or accept a plea deal in the case.
