City of Clear Water Opens Beaches

Eau Claire County’s beaches are finally open.

Several beaches opened this week, after a rainy start to the summer. One of those beaches is at Lake Altoona. Michele Skinner of the Lake Altoona District Board says they haven’t seen any blue-green algae so far this summer. The hope is that the lake’s Aquathrusters are working.
