The Chippewa Valley Pickleball Club (CVPC), in partnership with the Village of Lake Hallie, invites the public to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand-opening celebration for 12 new pickleball courts at Lake Hallie Pickleball at Gower Park, 11510 17th Avenue in Lake Hallie. The event will take place on Monday, July 29th at 2 pm. The new courts opened for a Senior Pickleball tournament held this past weekend.
“We are thankful for our partnership with the Chippewa Valley Pickleball Club and the sponsors who made this park an asset to our village”, said Gary Spilde, Village President. The Village Board had the foresight to repurpose the park to expand commerce within the village. Kent Stelter, Chair of the Village’s Parks, Tourism and Recreation Committee stated, “This park will be a pickleball destination and we look forward to welcoming visitors that will patronize our local businesses.”
