Tornado’s Confirmed in WI

Monday night’s storms dropped at least one tornado in southern Wisconsin.

The National Weather Service yesterday confirmed that an EF-1 tornado touched down in Kieler, in Grant County. The sheriff’s office says the twister tore the roof off the Village Bar Supper Club. No one was hurt, even though there were about 20 customers and people working in the supper club at the time. Forecasters say the storm was on the ground for about a minute-and-a-half. There’s no word as to just how strong the tornado’s winds were.
