The American soldier who jumped the border into North Korea is reportedly in plea negotiations with the Army.
Travis King, who is from Racine, ran into North Korea last July. He was due to be sent back to the states to be disciplined for a fight in South Korea. King spent almost three months in North Korea. He was due in a military court in Texas for a preliminary hearing yesterday, but military prosecutors say that’s been delayed because of the plea talks. King is facing several charges, including desertion.
