Most people in Wisconsin want to keep their gas-powered cars.
The state’s largest business group, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce is out with a new poll that says 59-percent of people in the state opposed a gas-powered car ban. The poll says 22-percent of people support the idea, and another 19-percent aren’t sure. No one has introduced a plan to stop gas powered engines in Wisconsin yet. But Republicans at the Wisconsin Capitol are worried enough that it may happen, that they’ve already tried to pass a ban on gas-powered car bans. That idea, however, hasn’t made it past Governor Evers yet.
