There are more worries about the still-flooded Rock River.
Folks who live along the river in several spots, but particularly near Lake Koshkonong, say all of the rain this summer has swollen the river to almost-unmanageable levels. The National Weather Service continues to have a Flood Warning in effect for parts of the river in Jefferson and Rock counties. Forecasters say the river will stay high, and in some spots dangerous, until further notice.
