UW-La Crosse’s former chancellor looks to be on his way out at the university.
A faculty panel late on Friday recommended that Joe Gow be fired as a communications professor. Gow lost his job as La Crosse’s chancellor late last year when the university discovered that Gow was making porn movies with his wife, and sharing them on the internet. The faculty panel says Gow has tried to ‘capitalize on the controversy’ he caused. That, the group says, has harmed UW-La Crosse’s reputation. The faculty panel also says Gow broke several university rules, including internet rules.
The school’s new chancellor says a final decision on Gow’s future has not yet been made.
