Governor Tony Evers has declared a state of emergency for several northeast Wisconsin Counties.
The counties include: Outgamie County,Winnebago County, Calumet County, and Waupaca County, which are all still recovering from flooding last week. The state of emergency aims to help the affected counties access resources for flood relief. The executive order calls for all state agencies to assist in recovery where the state adjutant general deems necessary. Neighbors of Appleton and Manawa had to evacuate due to the July 5th flooding, and the heavy rain also led a dam embankment to breach in Manawa County.
