Police in Milwaukee are blaming the deadly wreck on Marquette’s campus on a drunk valet driver in a borrowed car.
Prosecutors filed formal homicide charges yesterday against 23-year-old Marco Gomez. Police say he was working as a valet at a Milwaukee hotel when he took a guest’s Toyota, then crashed it into another car on the Marquette campus, and killed the driver. Investigators say Gomez was drunk at the time. He’s being held on 100 thousand-dollars bond.
