A western Wisconsin woman accused of killing her husband then burning his body will go to trial.
A judge in Black River Falls yesterday found Star Myers competent enough to stand trial. Prosecutors in Jackson County say she shot her husband to death in March of last year, then set his body on fire to try and cover-up her crime. She is due back in court in September, but there’s no word when her trial could actually begin.
