Troopers Take to Buses, Trucks to Watch Roads

Wisconsin troopers will be in buses and large trucks to watch drivers from a higher vantage point during a campaign in mid-July.

Wisconsin State Patrol says the Trooper in a Truck campaign focuses on highways and aims to reduce crashes and injuries involving commercial trucks. In the last five years, there has been an average of seven-thousand crashes involving large trucks in Wisconsin. Seventy people died in those crashes. The campaign will run from July 8th until the 12th.
