An 81-year-old woman has been sentenced to life in prison for a murder that was unsolved for decades.
Mary Jo Bailey was convicted for murdering Yvonne Menke in May. The victim was shot and killed in 1985. Prosecutors say boot-prints found in the snow matched some Bailey owned, and authorities found a note in Menke’s purse about the details of Bailey’s truck. Bailey will be eligible for parole in 20 years.
