Runaway Cow in Chippewa Co.

There is a runaway cow in Chippewa County.

The sheriff’s office took to Facebook this week to say a cow escaped a farm on State Highway 27 on Tuesday, and hasn’t been wrangled just yet. Deputies say the cow broke through a fence and hasn’t let anyone get close since. The sheriff’s office says people need to be careful, and watch out for the runaway cow if they are driving in the area south of County Highway S in Cadott.
