Charter Schools Set for Federal Funding

Some charter schools in Wisconsin are getting more than eleven-million dollars.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction says twelve charter schools will split the federal funding to open, plan, or expand their schools. Funding was prioritized for schools that serve educationally disadvantaged students and show strong academic achievement. The second round of applications for funding will open this fall.
