Petty Officer 2nd Class Jordan Faschingbauer, a native of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, serves the U.S. Navy at Marine Corps Security Force Battalion (MCSFBn) Bangor.
Faschingbauer is a 2018 graduate of Chippewa Falls Senior High School.
The skills and values needed to succeed in the Navy are similar to those found in Chippewa Falls.
“When I was growing up, I worked in retail, which taught me how to be patient with my coworkers and customers,” said Faschingbauer. “This is especially important in law enforcement because you don’t know who you’re going to meet on a traffic stop or while working. Patience also helps you get along with your coworkers.”
