The parent accused of rushing on stage at graduation and stopping the school superintendent from shaking his daughter’s hand is formally charged with disorderly conduct.
Matthew Eddy, who is White, is accused of jumping on stage at the Baraboo High School graduation ceremony and moving the administrator, who is Black, out of his daughter’s path. Off-duty police intervened, and Eddy was taken out of the gym. He faces a thousand dollars in fines and 90 days in prison if convicted.
