WI DHS Announces New Crisis Centers

Five new mental health crisis centers are open today in Wisconsin.

The state Department of Health Services says the crisis stabilization facilities will be used to help people who don’t need to be hospitalized, but can’t stay in their communities. That includes people with substance abuse and mental health crises can use these services.  The department set aside ten-million dollars in 2021 to fund the facilities.
