SMILE! WI Licenses Win First Place in ID Contest

Wisconsin’s driver’s licenses won first place for best ID in an international contest. 

The REAL ID for people older than 21 won the Élan Award of Excellence from the International Card Manufacturers Association. The card won for the way it used the Wisconsin state flag and State Capitol in its design. The Wisconsin DOT’s new design came out last June.
