Don’t Pack the Yak, Rent!

There are now kayaks for rent at Half Moon Lake.

The city this week debuted the new kayaks as a way for people without their own boat to get out and enjoy the water. The kayaks can be found at Braun’s Bay in Carson Park. A company called Surf Shack Rentals has them at a kiosk. A single kayak will cost you 12-dollars for the first hour, and nine-dollars after that. Tandem kayaks will cost 17-dollars for the first hour, and 12-dollars an hour after that.
