WisDOT Investigates, Dealer Licenses Revoked

WisDOT is cracking down on wholesale vehicle dealers at two Beaver Dam locations. 

Seven dealers have had their licenses revoked for allegedly breaking state law.  The department says each dealer failed to maintain a security bond, which ensures consumers can file a claim if the dealer does anything illegal.  In the past few years, Wisconsin has seen an uptick in the number of wholesale dealer licenses and consumer complaints resulting in investigations.
