Scientists have discovered a potentially habitable planet 40-light-years away from Earth.
Researches announced the planet is about the size of Venus, and may be temperate enough to support life. The star that the planet is orbiting is only 27-percent of our sun’s size. It’s estimated that the surface temperature is a little over a-hundred-degrees Fahrenheit, much lower than thousands of other discovered planets. Scientists will next determine if the planet has an atmosphere similar to Earth’s.
