Firefighters say a weekend house fire in Buffalo County claimed the lives of four pets.
It happened Saturday in the Town of Buffalo. The sheriff’s office says no one was home when the house caught fire Saturday afternoon. Three cats and a dog, however, were home and died. Fire crews say the home is a total loss and the exact cause continues to be investigated.
