A Marathon County fire chief is behind bars and looking at child enticement charges.
Authorities in Rothschild yesterday arrested Riverside Fire District Chief Robert Bowen on child enticement/sexual contact charges. No one is offering any specifics as to just what he’s accused of doing. The Riverside Fire District Board has an emergency meeting scheduled for later this morning, presumably to deal with the chief’s future.
