The NFL Draft will almost certainly mean a re-write of the liquor laws in Green Bay.
City council members last night got their first look at the draft proposal for the changes. Those changes include allowing Green Bay’s bars to stay open til 4 a.m., allowing people to drink on the streets, and allowing bars and restaurants to use their parking lots to serve the crowds. There is also a push to expand the SafeRide program during the draft. City leaders expect hundreds of thousands of people to come to Green Bay for next spring’s NFL Draft. The Draft is scheduled to run from April 24th through the 26th next year.
