There will be no police action against pro-Palestine protestors on UW-Madison’s campus for the next 24 hours.
Students met with UW-Madison’s Chancellor, Jennifer Mnookin today on the fourth day of protests. The protestors have been staying in tents on campus, which the university says is a violation of school policy. Police arrested 34 people and cited four at the Dane County Jail yesterday, after they were instructed by the University to take down the tents. Students will meet with the chancellor again after the 24 hour period has passed.
