Wisconsin State Patrol Inspectors and Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in St. Croix County on Interstate 94 at milepost 18.
Preliminary evidence from the crash scene indicates that a semi-tractor-trailer was traveling westbound in the left lane. The semi, driven by 67 Year Jimmy Castle from Macungie, PA crossed into the right lane, striking a Ford Edge driven by 72 year old Merlin Samuel, with his passenger 65 Year old Shari Samuel from Ellsworth injured in the crash.
Both vehicles then traveled off the roadway and came to rest in the north ditch.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
