Basil Recall Affects Wisconsin

You’ll want to check your fresh basil to make sure it’s safe to eat.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Friday said Wisconsin is among the 29 states included in a fresh basil recall. The basil came in Infinite Herbs two-and-a-half ounce packages from Trader Joes. The fear is that the basil has been linked to a salmonella outbreak. The state says people should throw out any basil they have from Trader Joes, and talk to the store about a possible refund and you can CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE.
