UW-Madison says it set a record for fundraising on the Day of the Badger.
The university yesterday said Tuesday’s fundraiser brought-in one-point-seven million-dollars. More than 47-hundred donors gave more than 72-hundred gifts to the university on Tuesday. The Day of the Badger is UW-Madison’s one-day fundraiser that focuses on raising money for the campus’ greatest needs.
In the five years that The Day of the Badger has been around, the university says it has raised about eight-and-a-half million-dollars.
