Tuition at UW-Eau Claire will be nearly 10 thousand-dollars next year thanks to a new tuition hike.
As expected, regents yesterday agreed to another tuition increase. They approved a three-point-seven-five percent tuition hike. Regents also approved new fees for half of the state campuses. Each campus charges different rates, but the tuition increase means tuition at UW-Madison will jump to almost 12 thousand-dollars a year. UW President Jay Rothman says the tuition increase is needed to keep up with the cost of inflation. This tuition increase for next year comes after the UW raised tuition by five percent to start this school year.
