Chippewa Pool Makes Splash

The pool in Chippewa Falls isn’t closing anytime soon. 

City parks director John Jimenez yesterday said the recent upgrades were successful, and said the pool will be able to stay open for years.  Chippewa Falls considered closing the Bernard Willi Pool, saying repairs and renovations would be too expensive.  But Jimenez yesterday said they were able to complete the work that will guarantee the pool for several more seasons.  The Willi Pool is set to open in just over two months.
