At about 2:18 PM the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire near the intersection of Northshore Drive and Indian Hills Drive, in the Township of Seymour.
Upon arrival of the first Deputy the house was fully engulfed with fire. Neighbors said the homeowner was seen at the house earlier in the day and believed she was still inside. This information turned out to not be true as the sole homeowner was contacted by phone, she was out of town. The homeowner also said there would be nobody else there and she didn’t have any pets.
Once the fire was out, the house was considered a total loss.
