The inaugural Medical Academy Program, a “mini medical school” open to students and the public, will kick off Monday night in Centennial Hall (Room 1415) at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The program will run from 6-7:30 p.m. every Monday for the next six weeks and will feature presentations from Mayo Clinic Health System physicians in a collaborative effort between UW-Eau Claire and the award-winning health care provider.
Mayo Clinic Health System physician Dr. Tim Young and UW-Eau Claire Chancellor James Schmidt will welcome a capacity class of 150 students to Monday night’s program, which will focus on neurology.
