Wisconsin is about to expand electric vehicle charging stations across the state.
Two bills now signed into law will allow the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to use more than 78-million dollars in Federal money to boost EV infrastructure at private businesses that want to offer EV charging stations. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says, when completed, drivers will never be more than 25 miles away from a fast charging station on most of the state’s highways. Fast charging means a full charge in less than an hour.
