Wildfire Warnings Stretch the State

Wisconsin is looking at a statewide wildfire warning.

The state’s Department of Natural Resources updated its fire danger map yesterday, and the entire state is looking at least a High Fire Danger level. A handful of counties in the middle of the state are looking at an Extremely High Fire Danger. The DNR is warning people against burning brush. A lack of snow, and dry start to the spring are being blamed for the heightened fire risk.
