They say Grandma’s are like moms with extra frosting. They get to do the fun stuff, be the friend, sneak the sweets, whisper the secrets.
And for this week’s Friday Feel Good we meet a Granddaughter and Grandma who stitch the days, weeks, months, and years together in a special way.
A grandma left an amazing gift to her granddaughter . . . 20 years worth of saved voicemails from granddaughter to grandmother. The little girl would call over the years and leave voicemails to her grandmother and rather than delete those, Grandma saved them and eventually, shared them with her Grandaughter, Pailey years after the fact.
Now, both of them have the archive of memories and can talk about the cherished memories.
