The top candidates for the position of the 77th Alice in Dairyland will be announced by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) on Friday, March 1, 2024.
After the March 1 press briefing, the top candidates will prepare for the three-day Alice in Dairyland Finals, which will be held May 2-4 in Door County. There, candidates will be evaluated by a three-member interview panel as they demonstrate their marketing skills and agricultural knowledge via TV and radio interviews, speeches, writing samples, and interactions with the public. The 77th Alice in Dairyland will be announced on May 4, 2024 at the Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay.
