Wisconsin’s governor has approved new legislative maps.
The Republican-majority state Legislature passed the maps along to the Supreme Court last Tuesday. Governor Tony Evers signed them this morning. The approved maps were drawn by Governor Evers, and he says they’re the first fair maps Wisconsin has seen in the past 50 years. The maps were initially overturned by the Wisconsin Supreme Court last December.
