Madison’s police chief will be one of eight people inducted into the Evidence-Based Policing Hall of Fame later this year.
The Hall of Fame, based at George Mason University in Virginia, inducts members of law enforcement who use science and research in their decision making. Chief Shon Barnes has been with the Madison Police Department since 2021, and started his career in law enforcement in 2000.
